Builders Capital Mortgage Corp. has announced its intention to adopt semi-annual financial reporting under the exemptions provided by Coordinated Blanket Order 51-933 – Exemptions to Permit Semi-Annual Reporting for Certain Venture Issuers.
Under this reporting framework, the Company will no longer file interim financial statements and management’s discussion and analysis (MD&A) for the three-month and nine-month reporting periods. Builders Capital will continue to provide six-month interim financial reporting, annual audited financial statements, and all required material change disclosures.
The semi-annual reporting model was introduced by Canadian securities regulators as part of a pilot initiative designed to reduce regulatory burden for eligible venture issuers while maintaining meaningful disclosure requirements for investors.
Builders Capital stated that the change is expected to streamline reporting processes and improve operational efficiency, while continuing to uphold transparency and timely disclosure obligations to shareholders and the market.
